Nedile Lodge is situated in Welgevonden Private Game Reserve, in the spectacular Waterberg Plateau. The reserve, which we call ‘Home’ is 38 200ha in size and have over 50 different mammals, including the Big 5.

Social media in today’s day and age, makes it so easy to keep you, our guests, updated with news of what’s happening on a daily or weekly basis. Just by keeping an eye on our Facebook posts and the blog posts, you know what is happening in and around the lodge, what we’ve seen on game drive, great photo’s get shared etc.

Keeping with the times, the Reserve is also keeping us updated with happenings! In a reserve this vast there is quite a bit happening behind the scenes, and almost always some interesting animal mischief that has to be dealt with quickly by management. Some of this include the cheetah that got into the buffalo camp or the elephant that got an anchor pole stuck between its tusk and gum! Have a look at the following link:

While having a look around on their site, follow the link for the Team that is managing the Reserve, these are the people that make sure everything runs smoothly in this gorgeous place we call ‘Home’
